Accra Great Olympics Relegate To Division One
Accra Great Olympics has been relegated from the Ghana Premier League after failing to secure the maximum points in the 2023-24 season.
This outcome reflects a difficult season for the club, which now faces the challenge of competing in the Access Bank Division One League. Relegation will require the team to reassess its strategy, potentially make significant changes to its squad, and work diligently to achieve promotion back to the GPL in the subsequent seasons.
Accra Great Olympics was awarded 3 points ,3 goals in the last round of matches of the Ghana Premier League after their opponent Real Tamale United failed to honor the game but the accumulated points failed to maintained their spot in the Ghana’s elite League.
Accra Great Olympics placed 16th position with 44 points after 34 matches played , won 11 , drew 11 and lost 12 games in the GPL 2023-24 season.
