Art enthusiasts, tourists and members of the public will have the opportunity to experience art beyond the gallery walls as artists participating in the Beyond Creation: Humanity, Nature and Spirituality — A Universal Message exhibition prepare for a live painting session at the Accra Art Centre.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., will bring artists and the public together for an interactive artistic experience at the Accra Art Centre on John Evans Atta Mills High Street in Accra.
The live painting session is expected to offer visitors an opportunity to observe artists as they transform their ideas into visual expressions, providing insight into the creative process and the inspiration behind their works.
Beyond simply watching the artists at work, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in conversations, exchange ideas and experience the creative process as it unfolds.
Organisers say the initiative is designed to make art more accessible by encouraging public participation and creating a space where people can connect with artists and appreciate the different stages of artistic creation.
The event forms part of the broader Beyond Creation exhibition, which explores the themes of humanity, nature and spirituality through artistic expression. Its universal message seeks to encourage reflection on the relationship between people, the natural world and spiritual life.
The live painting session also provides an opportunity to take art beyond traditional exhibition spaces and bring it directly to the public, allowing visitors to engage with artists in an open and interactive environment.
Art lovers, tourists exploring Accra, visitors to the arts market and curious passers-by are all invited to participate in the event.
With its emphasis on creativity, interaction and public engagement, the session promises to offer an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to experience art in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
The organisers have encouraged the public to attend and be part of the experience, stressing that everyone is welcome.
