I am pleased to announce to the rank and file of our great party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), that I have successfully completed the filing and vetting processes to contest for the position of Greater Accra Regional Vice Chairman in the upcoming Regional Executive Elections.
My decision to offer myself for this important responsibility stems from my unwavering commitment and genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth, unity, strength and development of our great party in the Greater Accra Region.
For me, this is more than a contest for a position. It is a call to duty, a call to service and an opportunity to give back to the party that has shaped my political journey over the years.
POLITICAL JOURNEY: A RECORD OF EXPERIENCE AND DEDICATED SERVICE
My journey in the NDC has been marked by sacrifice, commitment, hard work and dedicated service at various levels of the party’s organisational structure. I have had the privilege and honour of serving our great party in the following capacities:
- Branch Chairman
- Constituency Treasurer
- Constituency Chairman
- Member, NDC Greater Accra Regional Communications Team
- Member, NDC National Communications Team
- Member, NDC Greater Accra Regional Disciplinary Committee
These responsibilities have equipped me with invaluable experience in grassroots mobilisation, party administration, financial management, political communication, conflict resolution and organisational leadership.
Through these roles, I have experienced firsthand the sacrifices of our grassroots supporters, the dedication of our constituency executives and the importance of building strong, effective and united party structures.
I firmly believe that the experience, institutional knowledge and leadership skills I have acquired over the years must now be brought to bear at the regional level to strengthen our structures, deepen internal cohesion and support the continued progress of our party.
As I seek your mandate to serve as Greater Accra Regional Vice Chairman, I bring to the table a wealth of political experience, a deep understanding of our party’s structures, an unwavering commitment to service and a strong spirit of teamwork. My ambition is to complement the efforts of the Regional Chairman and other regional executives in advancing our collective interests and strengthening the NDC across the Greater Accra Region.
I believe that effective leadership is not about occupying a position; it is about serving with humility, listening to the concerns of party members, building consensus and working collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
A MESSAGE OF GOODWILL TO CONSTITUENCY ELECTION ASPIRANTS
As our great party prepares for the constituency elections scheduled for Saturday, 24th October 2026, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to all aspirants who have offered themselves for various leadership positions across our constituencies.
I commend your courage, commitment and willingness to serve the NDC. Your decision to step forward reflects your dedication to the growth and development of our party.
I encourage all aspirants, delegates, supporters and party faithful to conduct themselves with maturity, discipline, tolerance and mutual respect throughout the electoral process.
Let us always remember that, despite our individual ambitions and differences, we belong to one political family, united by a common vision and a shared commitment to the success of the National Democratic Congress.
I wish all aspirants the very best in the constituency elections. May the process be peaceful, transparent, fair and successful.
To those who emerge victorious, I urge you to lead with humility, embrace inclusiveness and remember that leadership is a responsibility to serve all. To those who may not succeed, I encourage you to remain steadfast, loyal and committed to the ideals of our great party. Every contribution matters, and every committed party member has a role to play in building a stronger NDC.
At the end of the day, our greatest victory must be the unity, strength and continued success of the National Democratic Congress.
