Members of the Greater Accra regional assemblies have publicly endorsed the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, ahead of the upcoming general elections.
At a press conference, these assembly members highlighted the achievements of Mahama’s previous administration, expressing optimism that an NDC government would bring much-needed development to the Greater Accra region.
Addressing the media, the assemblyman for the Amamomo electoral area criticized the current administration under President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, attributing rising inflation, economic collapse, and general hardship to their leadership.
He warned that giving the New Patriotic Party (NPP) another term could be detrimental to the nation.
The assembly members urged Ghanaians to vote decisively for the NDC and John Mahama, stating that his past leadership was more favorable and promising in comparison to the current situation. They expressed hope that an NDC victory would lead to improved governance and economic stability.
