Akufo Addo now regrets not sacking Ofori Attah – Subin MP alleges.

Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi, MP for Subin, has claimed that President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo now regrets not dismissing his cousin, former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, when calls for his removal were made by NPP MPs.

Antwi attributed the economic challenges currently faced by the government to Ofori-Atta’s leadership, asserting that he is primarily to blame for the country’s difficulties.

In a media interview, the Subin MP expressed that he has never feared Ofori-Atta, which motivated him to join fellow NPP MPs in advocating for his removal.

He suggested that the President cannot publicly criticize his cousin but is now regretting his decision not to heed their calls.

Antwi praised the current Finance Minister, Dr. Amin Adams, for his performance, stating that he has instilled hope in the party for the upcoming elections.

He urged all NPP members to vote significantly for their presidential candidate, emphasizing that he deserves the chance to lead, especially since he was not given a fair opportunity in 2021.
