Kuami Eugene, the talented singer and songwriter, wants to set the record straight about his professional relationship with Lynx Entertainment.
In a recent interview on Hitz FM on October 21, 2024, he addressed the swirling rumors about his alleged exit from the record label.
It was reported by some netizens that Kuami Eugene had omitted the Lynx Entertainment logo from his latest music video “Belinda,” sparking speculations about his departure from the label.
However, Kuami Eugene clarified that he is still very much a part of Lynx Entertainment and is actively collaborating with the label. He emphasized that fans should not be quick to jump to conclusions based on what they see on social media.
In fact, he revealed that he is currently working on a project with Richie Mensah, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment. Addressing the rumors, Kuami Eugene expressed his frustration with the haste in which people were assuming his departure from the label.
He stated, “People are so impatient with what they see on social media. If there was an official exit like what people are talking about, myself and Lynx would have issued a statement. But I don’t know why some people want to end our contracts for us.
I just sent a song to Richie two days ago on a project he is working on.” Furthermore, Kuami Eugene assured that if there were any developments regarding his association with Lynx Entertainment, an official statement would be released.
He emphasized that should he decide to leave the record label, it would be communicated openly and transparently. “If we are close to a level where I want to leave, we will put it out there for everyone to know,” he added.
