The collaboration originated from a chance meeting between M.anifest and The Cavemen. at his music festival in Accra and further developed in Lagos.

Flea, bonding with M.anifest over their shared love for jazz and books, contributed a trumpet solo to the track. Produced by Budo and The Cavemen., ‘Puff Puff’ blends hip-hop, jazz, and highlife music into a feel-good anthem celebrating life and resilience.

The song’s lyrics reflect on life’s challenges, with The Cavemen.’s hook serving as a reminder to persevere. M.anifest describes the track as an innovative blend of highlife and hip-hop, with an easy-going vibe that flows effortlessly.
