The former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, has cautioned the party against complacency as the December 7th polls approach.
He emphasized that the only obstacle to the NDC’s victory is complacency, urging party members to remain focused and work tirelessly.
Addressing supporters in Nungua during John Mahama’s #Mahama4Change2024 tour of the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo stressed the importance of hard work and vigilance in securing every single vote.
“Elections are about numbers, and every vote counts. The NDC must fight for every vote to ensure victory,” he said.
Reflecting on the recent shift in parliamentary dynamics—where the NDC moved from minority to majority in just one day—Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo expressed confidence that this is a clear sign of the NDC’s momentum heading into the 2024 elections.
However, he warned that this should not lead to overconfidence.
“The signs of victory are clear, but we must remain vigilant and protect our ballots on December 7th,” he advised.
