Our main focus is on agriculture and agribusiness – John Mahama.

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed that if he is elected in the upcoming December 7 elections, his primary focus will be on promoting agribusiness and agriculture.

He emphasized the need to support farmers in producing sufficient food for Ghanaians, with the potential to export excess produce to boost the economy.

Mahama highlighted that the first responsibility of any government is to ensure its citizens have affordable access to food. He cited statistics from his previous term, stating that around eight million Ghanaians went without food for at least one day due to affordability issues.

During a campaign tour, he stressed that every sector in the country is deteriorating and requires urgent intervention.

He urged Ghanaians to recall his achievements during his presidency and vote for him to restore the country for the betterment of all citizens.
