Any attempt to rig election 2024 will bring chaos in Ghana – Kwasi Pratt Jnr.

Kwasi Pratt Junior, editor of The Insight newspaper, has issued a stern warning that any attempt to rig the upcoming elections in favor of any candidate will lead to disaster in the country.

He criticized the tendency for people to be directed to the courts when concerns about election rigging arise, stating that he is not interested in court proceedings. Pratt emphasized his constitutional right to self-defense, which he extends to all Ghanaians.

Speaking at a media engagement, Pratt clarified that his call for Ghanaians to defend themselves is rooted in upholding and protecting the constitution.

He highlighted that the same constitution, which the president and vice president swore to defend, gives citizens the right to self-defense. He asserted that if, on December 7, he is threatened at a polling station while casting his vote, he would not hesitate to protect himself.

Pratt also called for clarity in the minds of the public, insisting that no one will be allowed to manipulate the election results. He stressed that the votes of Ghanaians must count and that the outcome of the election must accurately reflect the sovereign will of the people.
