At the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Odumodublvck received nominations but did not win. Burna Boy was nominated for Best Live Performer, while Odumodublvck was nominated for Best International Flow.
However, Burna Boy lost to Missy Elliott, and Odumodublvck was edged out by British rapper Ghetts. Kendrick Lamar was the big winner of the night, taking home 7 awards, including Best Artist, Best Song for “Not Like Us,” and Impact Track of the Year.
Other notable winners included Nicki Minaj for Hip-hop Album of the Year with “Pink Friday 2” and Missy Elliott for Best Live Performer.
