A Must-Win For Black Stars Against Sudan To Keep 2025 AFCON Qualification Hopes Alive

After a goalless draw game at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg , the Blacks Stars and Sudan battle off again at Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Libya for the second leg of the 2025 Afcon qualifiers.

This crucial encounter is a do-or-die affair for Ghana as they seek to secure their place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. With the qualification race heating up, anything short of a win could jeopardize Ghana’s chances of making it to the 2025 Afcon in Morocco.

The Black Stars must be at their best against a resilient Sudan side where coach Otto Addo will likely rely on star players like Mohammed Kudus, Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku and Jordan Ayew to deliver a crucial victory. Defensively, Ghana will need to stay sharp, avoiding any costly mistakes that could let Sudan capitalize on counter-attacks.

Playing in a neutral venue due to Sudan’s ongoing political challenges adds a layer of unpredictability, but Ghana remains the favorite. A win would solidify their position in the group and put them closer to AFCON 2025 qualification.
