Hasaacas Ladies Wins 2024 Women’s Champions Of Champions

Hasaacas Ladies have clinched the Women’s Champions of Champions trophy after a commanding 2-0 victory over Army Ladies at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram over the weekend.

The much-anticipated clash, which brought together the champions of the Women’s Premier League and the MTN-FA Cup winners, was a clash of titans and test of technical capabilities ahead of the next season.

Hasaacas Ladies, known for their tactical discipline and fluid attacking play, took control of the game and their efforts paid off with a well-worked goal through Comfort Owusu in the 39th minutes of the first half putting them in the lead.

The second half saw Army Ladies pushing for an equalizer, but Hasaacas Ladies doubled their lead with another goal from Mercy Attaborah in the 74th minutes, sealing their victory.

Army Ladies failed to make the most of their chances when they had the opportunity as Hasaacas held on to win the contest 2-0.

The match served as a curtain-raiser for the upcoming 2024/25 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season which kicks off from October 18-21.
