I won’t take even $1 million to compose a political song – Dr Cryme

Tema-based rapper Dr Cryme, also known as D Cryme, recently made a bold statement by revealing that he would turn down a whopping $1 million offer from any political party to compose a campaign song for them.

He emphasized that his music is created for the enjoyment of Ghanaians and that personal integrity is paramount to him, outweighing any financial incentives.

In a firm and confident tone, D Cryme expressed his unwavering commitment to his principles, stating, “I am a Ghanaian, and I will not make a song for a party. You know the deals—I’m worth more than that.”

He further proclaimed himself as a “quadruple, zillion-dollar artist,” emphasizing that his dedication lies with the people of Ghana.

The rapper hinted that any potential collaboration would involve negotiations with substantial figures, highlighting his steadfast loyalty to his country and the values he upholds.

“If I want to do a song, and it’s a negotiation, you’d see the numbers with plenty zeros,” he added, underscoring his stance on maintaining artistic integrity and independence from political affiliations.
