Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has paid a visit to Leicester City’s Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku as part of his preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
Both players have been in top form, with Issahaku scoring 5 goals and providing 7 assists in 24 league appearances, while Ayew has netted 5 goals and added 3 assists.
Addo’s visit is aimed at building team cohesion and instilling a strong culture within the Black Stars. He’s previously met with other key players, including Abdul Mumin, Mohammed Kudus, and Ernest Nuamah.
Ghana will regroup on March 30 for a friendly against Germany, and Addo will announce the final World Cup squad on June 1. The Black Stars are in Group L with Panama, England, and Croatia.
