Hon. Mahmud Khalid, a seasoned Ghanaian politician and former minister of state, has praised the humility and dedication of John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that these qualities will lead the party to victory in the upcoming elections.
He highlighted Mahama’s commitment to fulfilling his promises, especially in the areas of education and the economy, which the ruling NPP is well aware of.
In a media interaction following Sharaf Mahama’s charitable donations to children in the Northern region, Hon. Khalid, who once served as the Upper West Regional Minister, expressed his belief that, with God’s will, the NDC and John Mahama will return to power to continue the good work they had been doing for the country.
He also commended Sharaf Mahama for following in his father’s footsteps by giving back to society and supporting vulnerable communities, noting that such actions are uncommon among politicians, even those who have more resources.
Khalid urged Ghanaians to remember John Mahama in the upcoming polls, emphasizing that his leadership is crucial for the country’s development.
