#MW4: MEDEAMA DEEMS HOLY STARS, YOUNG APOSTLES PRAYS FOR ADUANA AFTER  KOTOKO DRAW AND PHOBIA SINGS HALLELU OVER NATIONS

Matchweek 4 of the Ghana Premier League delivered exciting matches with intense action and noteworthy results.

Accra Lions opened the week by defeating Nsoatreman 3-1. A 10th-minute goal from Salman Favis Tahiru gave Accra Lions an early lead, followed by Ezekiel Kwame Alladoh scoring in the 17th minute. Nsoatreman’s Stephen Diyou pulled one back in the 48th minute, but Blessing Assuman Dankwah sealed the win for Accra Lions in the 67th minute.

At the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Hearts of Oak earned a morale-boosting goalless draw against Nations FC, who have been unbeaten at home in 18 matches.

Berekum Chelsea drew 1-1 with Kumasi Asante Kotoko at Golden City Park. Kotoko took the lead just two minutes in, thanks to Michael Kyei Dwamena, but Berekum Chelsea responded in the second half with an equalizer from Zakaria Fuseini.

Medeama SC secured a 2-1 win against debutants Basake Holy Stars on the road, showcasing their dominance.

Young Apostles continued their impressive start in their debut Premier League season by defeating Aduana Stars 3-2, following an excellent display against Kotoko last week.

Heart of Lions were held to a goalless draw by Bibiani Goldstars at the Kpando Sports Stadium, unable to capitalize on their chances.

Legon Cities’ struggles continued as they suffered a 0-2 defeat at home to Karela United.

Defending champions Samartex 1996 overcame Vision FC with a 2-1 victory, rounding off a thrilling matchweek.
