The Member of Parliament for the Zebilla constituency in the Upper East Region, Cletus Apul Avoka has charged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to commence a door-to-door campaign for the flag bearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama, and Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla, Parliamentary candidate of the NDC for victory on the Dec 7th polls.
He added that a vote for the NDC on Dec 7th is a vote for the second independence of Ghana.
Hon Avoka stated this at Zebilla during the launch of campaign team members and, therefore, further appealed to electorates in the Zebilla constituency to vote massively for the Parliamentary candidate for continued development.
Former District Chief Executive for Bawku West District Simon Ayande Agbango congratulated the campaign team members on behalf of the PC and reiterated the urgent need for the NDC to maintain the Parliamentary seat.
He moreover stated that unity and peace within the party before, during, and after the election are paramount, hence the need for NDC members in the Zebilla constituency and Ghana, in general, to live in harmony with one another.
Hon. Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla, the PC in his address called on all and sundry in the party to be decorous in their campaigns. He further revealed that a vote for him and JDM is for peace, unity, and unprecedented development in Zebilla and the entire nation.
Hon Cletus Apul Avoka on this occasion donated five brand new motorbikes to the PC for campaigns. In a related development, businessman and former Parliamentary aspirant of the party in the Zebilla constituency, Mr Ben Alokko also donated a Navara pick-up and a motorbike to the party for the day-to-day campaigns movement.
