Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mustapha Gbande, has issued a stern warning that the party will firmly resist any attempts by the ruling NPP government to use security agencies to intimidate them during the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Gbande emphasized that the NDC will not tolerate any form of intimidation and will stand strong against it.
Speaking on Ahotor FM‘s morning show, ‘Adekyee Mu Nsem‘ with host Citizen Kofi Owusu, Mr. Gbande urged security forces to serve the nation impartially, rather than working for any individual or political party.
He also vowed that the NDC would protect the integrity of the 2024 elections with all their might and strength, ensuring democracy prevailed.
Mr. Gbande’s remarks highlight the crucial need for accountability and transparency in the electoral process to safeguard democracy and ensure the people’s will is respected.
As the 2024 elections draw near, his warning serves as a reminder to all involved to prioritize the integrity of the electoral system and uphold democratic principles.
