The National Chairman of the Serial Callers and Texters Association who doubles as the Communication Officer of NDC in the Ashaiman constituency, Mr. Joseph Ashaiman, has announced the upcoming visit of John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to Ashaiman on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 2 pm at the Nii Amui Park. Mr. Awuku revealed this during an interview with Kofi Owusu on Adekye Mu Nsem on Ahotor Fm 92.3.
During his visit, Mr. Mahama is expected to tour the Ashaiman main market and lorry stations, where he will interact with market women and drivers. He will also hold discussions with artisans and business owners within the Ashaiman Municipality.
Mr. Joseph Awuku, the Communication Officer for the area, has called on all supporters and sympathizers of the NDC to gather at the venue and welcome Mr. Mahama and his entourage.
The former President’s two-day tour of the Greater Accra Region will also include meetings with Chiefs, Opinion leaders, the clergy, and religious leaders to acquaint himself with situational information in their respective areas.
According to sources, the tour provides an opportunity for various constituencies to learn more about the NDC’s 2024 Manifesto and its relatable policies and programs, as revealed at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on August 24, 2024. Mr. Mahama will also highlight the relevance and economic importance of the 24-Hour Economy Policy to supporters of the party and undecided voters.
