Government Accountability Series Resumes Tomorrow with First Briefing by Felix Kwakye Ofosu

The Presidency is set to relaunch the Government Accountability Series tomorrow as part of renewed efforts to deepen transparency and public participation in governance.

The inaugural session of the series will be hosted by the Minister for Government Communications, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese in the Central Region.

The event is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and will be presented by the Presidency’s Communications Team.
According to the Presidency, the Government Accountability Series is intended to provide regular, structured briefings on government policies, programmes, and overall performance, while giving the public clearer insight into decisions taken at the highest levels of government.

The session will be broadcast live on official government platforms, including @GhanaPresidency and ISD Ghana, in line with efforts to expand access to information and promote open governance.

The initiative forms part of the government’s broader agenda to strengthen accountability, enhance transparency, and improve direct communication between the state and citizens.
