Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the immediate past chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed strong confidence in his party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, as the best leader for Ghana during these challenging times.
Speaking at the NDC Manifesto launch in Winneba, in the Central Region, on Saturday, August 24th, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo criticized the current administration for leading the country into a severe economic crisis without offering any real solutions.
He stressed the urgent need for a change in leadership, stating that Ghana cannot continue on its current path of economic decline.
Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo emphasized that choosing the right leader is essential to guide the country out of its current difficulties. He highlighted Mahama’s previous experience as a former president, asserting that he has the skills and knowledge needed to address Ghana’s economic challenges effectively.
He also pointed out that Mahama’s proposed policies, such as the 24-Hour Economy, Women Development Bank, National Apprenticeship Programme, and the Big Push, show his dedication to the well-being of Ghanaians and provide a clear plan for recovery and growth.
