Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, the NPP Member of Parliament for the Agona West constituency in the Central Region, has announced her intention to contest the 2024 parliamentary elections as an independent candidate.
Having lost the NPP primaries to Christopher Arthur on April 13, she explained her decision by stating that she has unfinished work in her constituency and needs another opportunity to continue her efforts.
Morrison expressed her readiness to collaborate with either John Mahama or Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, regardless of who wins the presidential election, to advance the development of Agona West.
