Most Of The Teams In South Africa Have Sponsorships – Fatawu Dauda

Current Black Stars goalkeeper’s coach Fatawu Dauda has revealed that the Ghanaian Premier League clubs cannot be compared to clubs in the South African Premiership.

In an interview on another platform , Fatawu Dauda ,(39), emphasized that the majority of teams in the South African Premiership benefit from substantial sponsorships, unlike in Ghana. Dauda further explained that even the lower-tier teams in South Africa are able to compensate their players promptly due to the significant sponsorships they receive, a contrast to Ghana where most clubs rely on individual funding with minimal to no sponsorship.

Additionally, he noted that South African teams have the resources to employ an ample number of support staff to enhance their performance, a luxury not afforded to Ghanaian premier league teams.

He urged that Ghana Premier League managers should work hard to improve the quality of game and government can also help to improve the league.
