Hearts of Oak Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo, has expressed high hopes for the club’s future following the unveiling of their new secretariat. He believes this state-of-the-art facility will significantly enhance the club’s brand image and operational efficiency.
The modern building, situated in Adabraka, was officially handed over to the Hearts of Oak board in a ceremony led by Executive Chairman Togbe Afede. This milestone represents a major step forward in the club’s ongoing development efforts.
Opare Addo shared his optimism about the benefits this new secretariat will bring. “The advantages for the team are numerous. Beyond enhancing our image and brand, we are now the only club in Ghana with such a facility,” “Our secretariat stands out not just in Ghana, but across Africa and beyond. It includes a commercial center and the Kpobiman Complex, showcasing the comprehensive vision we have for the club’s future.”
One notable feature of the new secretariat is its dedication to preserving and celebrating the club’s rich history. Addo revealed that a floor of the building will be devoted to a museum and tourist center. This will provide a space for fans and visitors to explore the club’s storied past through old photographs, historical information, and other memorabilia. “We envision a place where anyone seeking information about the club can find what they need, be it old pictures or crucial historical data,” he explained.
Additionally, parts of the building will be available for rent, offering opportunities for individuals and organizations to lease space within this iconic facility. “We are creating a multifunctional space that not only serves the club’s administrative needs but also generates revenue and engages the community,” Addo noted.
The ceremony to unveil the new secretariat was a vibrant event, marking a significant moment in Hearts of Oak’s history. The facility is set to serve as the club’s executive office and the heart of its operations. “This is a landmark achievement for us,” Addo stated. “Having a dedicated executive office, museum, and tourist center all under one roof reflects our ambition to be a fully functional and premier club.”
Hearts of Oak’s new secretariat is more than just a building; it is a symbol of the club’s aspirations and a testament to its commitment to growth and excellence. This modern facility is poised to play a crucial role in elevating Hearts of Oak’s brand and cementing its position as a leading football club in Ghana and beyond.
