Let’s apply wisdom to halt electoral violence – Bishop I.K.Edoh.

Bishop I.K. Edoh, the Founder and President of the Ambassadors Church, has urged Ghanaians and other stakeholders to approach their comments with wisdom to avoid electoral violence as the December 7 elections approach.

He emphasized that certain comments can negatively affect others and lead to unrest.

Speaking on “Property Daybreak” with Maame Afua Kakraba, Bishop Edoh discussed the church’s role in curbing electoral violence and false prophecies.

He appealed to fellow religious leaders to use their pulpits to promote unity and peace, noting that politicians and their supporters are also church members.

According to him, this is not the appropriate time for religious figures to publicly support any candidate or political party, as such actions could disrupt the nation’s peace.

Bishop Edoh called on the Ghana Police Service to build public confidence and ensure citizens feel safe during this critical period. He also urged the electoral commission, peace council, and other stakeholders to act responsibly to maintain the country’s peace.

He concluded by advising Ghanaians to be cautious, especially those who view the election period as an opportunity for personal gain.
