Head coach of the Ghana Black Princesses, Yusif Basigi, has expressed optimism regarding the government’s commitment to disbursing the players’ bonuses before the commencement of the U20 World Cup in Colombia later this year.
He further emphasized his team’s dedication to ensuring that the princesses are in optimal condition for the tournament, and he is confident that both the ministry and the Ghana Football Association will collaborate to settle the players’ bonuses.
Reflecting on his team’s performance in the previous FIFA Women’s World Cup appearance in 2018, where they failed to advance to the next round, Yusif Basigi is determined to see improvement this time around. As a result, the team has initiated early preparations for the upcoming tournament in Colombia.
