Head coach of Ghana women’s U20 team, Yussif Basigi, has affirmed that his temporary absence from Hasaacas Ladies will not hinder the team’s performance in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League campaign.
Basigi, who also serves as the head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, is confident that the team possesses competent assistants who will guide them through the WAFU Zone B qualifiers. The final verdict on Hasaacas Ladies’ qualification for the main competition was unveiled during the Wednesday, July 24 draw at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Basigi will be at the helm of the Ghana national U20 women’s team as they prepare for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Columbia.
