Kawli Leonard Withdraw From Men’s Basketball Team For Paris 2024 Olympics

Los Angeles clippers forward Kawli Leonard will not play in the US men basketball team in Paris 2024 Olympics.

Leonard has been injured throughout the latter half of his season missing the final three games of the clippers first round playoffs lost against the Dallas maverick due right knee inflammation.

The two times national basketball association champion averaged 23.7 points,6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 68 regular season games for the clippers in the 2023/24 campaign.

In Paris, the men’s basketball tournament will start on 27 July, 2024 and team USA will seek a fifth consecutive Olympics gold medal.

The Americans will face south Sudan,Serbia and Puerto Rico in the group stages.
