Adjei Baffour Awuah wins NPP’s Manhyia South Parliamentary Primary

Lawyer Nana Adjei Baffour Awuah has won the Manhyia South Parliamentary primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), securing 376 votes.

Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, the brother of incumbent MP Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh polled 141 votes. James Owusu garnered 7 votes, while Akwasi Coker Gyambibi had 2 votes.

Prof. Smart Sarpong’s science and data research tipped Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah to win the Manhyia South Parliamentary Primary.

His survey tipped Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah to win the Manhyia South NPP parliamentary primary by not less than 70% of the delegates’ votes.

The primary followed the elevation of Dr Opoku Prempeh popularly called NAPO as the running mate to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the NPP.
