A Plus, also known as Kwame Obeng Asare, has expressed approval of the one-year-and-one-day prison sentence given to Hajia4Reall, also known as Mona Faiz Montrage, for her involvement in a romance scam.
He sees the sentence as a necessary lesson to discourage her and others from participating in fraudulent activities.
A Plus shared his views on UTV’s United Showbiz on 29th June 2024, noting that while he is not celebrating her misfortune, he believes that the punishment serves as a wake-up call rather than a fulfillment of anyone’s desires.
He added that it’s important for those involved in such scams to understand the consequences. Despite facing a potential five-year term, Hajia4Reall was sentenced to one year and one day in a U.S. prison after pleading guilty in February 2024.
The judge showed leniency in her sentencing.
