It’s A Difficult Group, But I Believe In Our Quality To Qualify- Otto Addo Confesses
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has openly acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead for the Black Stars aftermath of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations draw.
Speaking after the draw, coach Otto Addo emphasized the formidable nature of the group but expressed unwavering confidence in his team’s ability to advance. Despite the stiff competition, Addo remains optimistic about the Black Stars’ prospects.
The upcoming AFCON tournament presents an opportunity for Ghana to redeemed its image after the poor performance of the Black Stars in the last two AFCONs and World cup. With the second coming off Otto Addo , the Black Stars are gearing up for what promises to be a fiercely contested campaign.
The top two nations in each group progress automatically to next year’s AFCON in Morocco after a round robin slate of games. The upcoming AFCON runs from December 21 to January 18, 2026 with Cote D’Ivoire as defending champions.
