EURO 2024 : Germany Seal Top Spot In Group A
Germany won their first two group matches in Euro 2024 with goals aggregate of 7- 1 to secure a spot in the knockout stages.
Germany headed in the last group game against Switzerland in Deutsche Bank Park looking to rubber stamp their place in group A but were tactically out played by Switzerland before the break with Tony Kroos and Jamal Musiala shackles by the Reds.
Switzerland took the lead in the 28 minutes of the game through Dan Ndoye finding the back of the net and ended the first half with one zero lead. Nagelsmann men came into the second half and equalize the goal in the 91st minutes of the game with Niclas Fullkrug to help Germany secure the top spot of the group while extending their unbeating run to seven matches.
