Legon Cities Coach Parts Ways With Club After Season End
Ghana Premier League club , Legon Cities FC has expressed their end of marriage with their head coach Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabien following the expiration of his contract at the end of 2023-24 season.
The 65-year-old took the helm at Legon Cities with the ambition of transforming the team’s fortunes, has seen mixed results during his time in charge. Despite a promising start, the season was marked by inconsistent performances, leading the club to finish 15th with 45 points after 34 games in the GPL season.
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabien helped ensured Legon Cities stability in Ghana’s top-flight and is linked with move to clubs including newly promoted Young Apostles FC or a possible return to Aduana FC next season.
Club management expressed their gratitude for the coach’s efforts, highlighting his dedication and the positive changes he implemented within the squad. The search for a new head coach is already underway, with the club aiming to bring in fresh leadership to guide the team to greater success in the upcoming season.
