Black Stars coach Otto Addo has praised Jordan Ayew for his exceptional work rate within the team, urging Ghanaians to support the player rather than criticize him, as such negativity can hamper his performance.
Jordan Ayew played a pivotal role in Ghana’s victory against the Central African Republic in a World Cup qualifying match held in Kumasi. The center forward scored a remarkable hat trick, propelling Ghana to the top of Group I with nine points, a first since the qualifiers began.
Otto Addo emphasized that Jordan Ayew is a vital asset to the Black Stars, capable of playing multiple positions on the field. He encouraged Ghanaians to back Ayew, recognizing his significant contributions to the team’s success.
Ghana now leads Group I in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers after four games. The next round of qualifying matches will take place next year against Chad.
