It will be difficult to respond to emergencies in some parts of Accra- Fire Service.

The Ghana National Fire Service is cautioning residents of Doodowa, Achimota, Adjen-Kotoku, Ayi-Mensah, Spintex, and Ashiaman to avoid activities that increase the risk of fire outbreaks.

These communities are at high risk as the fire service warns they cannot appropriately deal with fire outbreaks due to a lack of functioning fire-tender machines.

These calls followed the recent devastating fire that destroys wooden structures at Circle ECOMOG

Scores of wooden structures at Circle ECOMOG in the Greater Accra region have been completely razed by a devastating fire.

The blaze broke out around 4 PM, causing widespread destruction and leaving many residents scrambling for safety and salvageable belongings.

Some residents recounted the chaotic scene as the flames quickly engulfed the area.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, but its rapid spread suggests that the tightly packed wooden structures and possibly flammable materials stored within may have contributed to the intensity of the blaze.

Local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.

The Circle ECOMOG community is now dealing with the aftermath, as residents sift through the charred remains of their homes, hoping to salvage what little they can.
