Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu has appealed to Ghanaians to believe in the players as they are up against Mali in a World Cup Group I qualifier in Stade du 26 Mars stadium in Bamako.
Salisu believes there are a lot of young players in the team that need the support of Ghanaians to perform as they know the importance of the game to the country.
The defender is optimistic that it will not be easy but believes the black stars will come victorious and believes the support will help boost their morale ahead of the game. He also expressed his confidence in the young players in the team and with time they will be able to take the team to the next level.
The black stars of Ghana are aiming to qualify for their fourth World Cup with the last one being Qatar 2022 which they exited in the group stage.
