Abraham Amaliba Esq, the Director of Conflict Resolution for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized President Akufo-Addo, claiming that he is resistant to advice and caution.
In an interview on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s ‘Simpieso‘ with host Emmanuel Martey, Mr. Amaliba argued that the state of the country would be significantly better if the President had taken advice seriously. He called on Ghanaians to vote out the New Patriotic Party in the upcoming December elections.
“Nobody can advise President Akufo-Addo because he doesn’t understand the need for caution. We can only pray that he leaves our country in one piece,” Mr. Amaliba stated.
Responding to a petition from Martin Amidu urging the President to impeach Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyabeng, Mr. Amaliba affirmed Amidu’s right to petition and expressed his own support for Agyabeng’s performance in office.
“I was initially against Kissi Agyabeng’s appointment as Special Prosecutor, but he has done an impressive job since taking office,” Mr. Amaliba told Alaska De Don.
