Professor Kwame Agyenim Boateng, who teaches about countries working together, politics, and deep thinking, didn’t like what President Akufo-Addo said. The President had said that if people voted for the old President, John Dramani Mahama, all the good things that happened during his time as boss might go away, and Ghana might not keep going in the right direction.
The President said this to his followers during a small meeting in Doboro, a place in the Greater Accra region, after visiting Blue Skies Limited. He kept saying how much he wanted Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to be the next big boss.
Professor Agyenim Boateng didn’t agree with the President’s words. He thought they were hurting the good stuff Ghana has been doing with democracy.
When he was talking on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s ‘Yepe Ahunu‘ with the host Nana Dogbe, Professor Agyenim Boateng said that some of the President’s words are making businesses in Ghana close. It’s been worrying both in Ghana and outside as many big companies say they’re leaving.
Even though Ghana has many good things like natural resources and a steady government, it’s been hard because of money problems. Professor Agyenim Boateng thinks one of the big reasons companies are leaving is because of some things the President says.
