Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, the Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, boldly declared that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had mishandled affairs in the country, urging Ghanaians to oust them from power. He dismissed President Akufo-Addo’s assertion about not handing over power to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as ludicrous.
Hon. Terlabi confidently asserted that the NDC will emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections, asserting that neither the NPP nor Akufo-Addo can hinder their success.
President Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to reject John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, in the upcoming December elections. He argued that Mahama’s election would reverse the progress made during his administration and endanger the nation’s development.
Speaking at a small rally in Doboro, Greater Accra, after visiting Blue Skies Limited, President Akufo-Addo reiterated his support for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as the preferred presidential candidate.
Reacting to this on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s morning show ‘AdeKyee Mu Nsem‘ with host Citizen Kofi Owusu, Hon. Terlabi dismissed President Akufo-Addo’s claims, stating that Akufo-Addo lacks a significant legacy for Mahama to undermine.
