Enock Agyepong, a well-known Ghanaian Music Producer and Artist manager, sparked controversy with his bold opinions in the entertainment world where creativity and assessment intersect.
During his interview with Obaapa Janee, on 22nd April 2024, Ahotor Fm mid-morning show, Enock Agyepong stated that artists should retaliate against gatekeepers who demean them, turning the tables on critics and industry insiders alike.
Agyepong, recognized for his outspokenness and daring criticism, spoke with authority, saying, “We cannot allow them to diminish our art and then expect us to remain silent,” he declared in the interview.
Agyepong called out entertainment critics, demanding respect for artists, and even went so far as to mention some of them by names in his social media posts.

”If gatekeepers don’t respect artists, what are we teaching the next generation? They will grow up to do the same thing”, he said.
