Akwasi Addai Odike, the Leader and Founder of the Union Government, exudes confidence in the newly established Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), asserting its victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
In Mr. Odike’s view, the failure of the ARC to secure victory in the impending elections would imply a lack of divine intervention in the world.
Nine political factions have united to contest the 2024 presidential elections, aiming to disrupt the entrenched dominance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghanaian politics.
This coalition, led by the Movement for Change, initiated by Mr. Alan Kyerematen, a former Minister of Trade and Industry and a prominent member of the NPP, operates under the collective banner of the “Alliance for Revolutionary Change.”
The coalition comprises the National Interest Movement, led by Dr. Michael Abu Sakara Foster; Ghana First Coalition, led by Dr. Samuel Noi Mensah; the Union Government, founded by Akwasi Addai Odike; the Ghana National Party, founded by Mr. Sam Ofori Ampofo.
Additionally, there are the Ghana Green Party, founded by Reverend Stephen Ayensu; the Third Force Movement, established by Mrs. Augustina Cudjoe; and the Non-Aligned Voters Movement, founded by Mr. Kwofie Beni Bengor and Mr. Henry Asante. Crusaders Against Corruption Ghana, former National Second Vice Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), also joins the alliance.
During an appearance on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s morning show ‘Adekyee Mu Nsem‘, Mr. Odike expressed the ARC’s readiness to challenge the political duopoly in Ghana. He firmly believed in the coalition’s triumph, suggesting that Ghanaians would be hypocritical to vote for either the NPP or the NDC.
Mr. Odike emphasized that if the ARC fails to clinch victory in the 2024 elections, it would signify a lack of divine intervention.
