Ghanaians Deserved the Best from Me, but It’s Unfortunate – Benjamin Kwaku Azamati Laments
Ghana’s fastest 100m runner Benjamin Kwaku Azamati faced a moment of introspection as he fell short of securing the gold medal prompting him to reflect on his commitment to his country in the Men’s 100m finals at the 13th African Games.
In an interview after the race, Benjamin Azamati expressed his disappointment at not being able to deliver the victory that Ghanaians had hoped for, acknowledging the weight of expectations placed upon him and the profound sense of responsibility he felt toward his nation.
Despite the setback, Azamati remained resolute in his determination to continue striving for excellence. He emphasized that defeat would not deter him from his ultimate goal of making Ghana proud .
