The National Labour Commission NLC has taken legal action against the Ministry of Education regarding its failure to disburse online teaching allowance to lecturers at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development in Somanya.
The commission alleges that the ministry has disregarded its directive concerning this issue.
Last month, the lecturers embarked on a strike due to the non-payment of the allowance despite reaching an agreement with the education ministry.
