The Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) is advising residents of Greater Accra and its surroundings to store ample water in their tanks and gallons to avoid potential shortages.
Stanley Martey, Chief Manager of Public Relations and Communication, highlighted the necessity of water rationing due to the insufficient capacity of water treatment plants to meet the demand in the region.
In a recent media interview, Mr. Martey assured the public that the GWCL is actively addressing the issue to find a lasting solution.
However, he emphasized the importance of proactive measures, suggesting that residents should stock up on water in storage tanks and gallons during their designated periods to mitigate any potential water scarcity.
