God is a mother. Not only did he birth us. He took care of us and continues to do so by giving us his life, image, abilities, a habitable world and socialized us into responsible people who can make informed choices. Even when man failed, God never abandoned them.
Such is motherhood. It transcends gender. And the limited role of females giving birth. It is nurturing babies into responsible adults as God did and not giving up when our children fail us.
On this special occasion of Mother’s Day we take note of those who have brought forth children but most importantly we celebrate those who BROUGHT UP those children. You are the reason why our world is still actively alive and hopeful. You gave us responsible leadership in every facet of life.
God bless and prosper you with good health and endless happiness. May your labour be rewarded with children who will mature into greater responsibility and be mothers themselves.
