A well-known Ghanaian actress, political activist, and influencer, Efia Odo, has recently made a revelation about her spiritual journey. According to her, she travelled to the United States of America for six months due to a heartbreak and a quest for healing.
In a recent episode of the all-female celebrity show called “Gh Queens,” Efia opened up about her experience and how it led her to find faith.
During the show, Efia shared that she cried every day during her stay in the US, listening to Gyakie’s songs and feeling devastated about the breakup. She realized that she had been loving the other person more than herself, which made her learn about self-worth and self-value.
This realization helped her find God, and she said that it’s a common saying that girls often find their faith after going through heartbreak.
She further added that one day, she woke up and decided to be confident in herself. She didn’t want to love another person more than herself, and the heartbreak made her realize the importance of self-love. She cried for the last time in August and found the strength to move on. She promised herself that she wouldn’t allow this to happen again.
