Joshua Hamidu Akamba, the Former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, likening him to a dog who always obeys his master, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to Mr. Akamba, President Akufo-Addo wanted a successor he could control as the Presidential Candidate of the NPP to fix the problems during his term.
“Bawumia always listens to Nana Addo like a loyal dog. Nana Addo chose Bawumia because he couldn’t control Alan Kyremateng and Kennedy Agyapong,” he shared with Citizen Kofi Owusu on Ahotor FM‘s Adi Kyi Mu Nsem.
Mr. Akamba blames the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government for the current difficulties facing Ghanaians. He believes voting for Dr. Bawumia as President is like voting for Nana Addo because Bawumia is his ‘loyal follower’.
He urged the NDC leadership to mobilize members at the grassroots level for a strong victory in the upcoming general elections, emphasizing the importance of branch mobilization in winning elections.
The Former National NDC Organizer commended the 24-Hour Economy Policy proposal by Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s Presidential Candidate.
