Ghanaian Kumawood actor and football executive, Yaw Dabo has been bewailed by the lack of support from multiple award-winning media personalities, Deloris Frimpong Manso aka Delay regarding his football academy, Dabo Soccer Academy.
In an interview with Zionfelix, Yaw Dabo disclosed that he reached out to Delay for sponsorship for his football academy.
He was disappointed when the popular TV presenter rejected his request to sponsor his show. She explained that she was already sponsoring two other shows, including Nana Ama McBrown’s cooking show “McBrown’s Kitchen,” and was unable to take on any more sponsorships.
According to Yaw he only requested 10 boxes of Delay-branded spaghetti each month for his players to help them maintain a healthy weight. He expressed disappointment and hurt that he had sacrificed for others in the past but had been let down when he needed help himself.
Despite the feeling of being let down or dissatisfied, the Kumawood actor added “Delay and I are cool. She is my mother.“
