There is nothing new in this ministerial reshuffle — Keneth Kabu Kofi Kanor,

The recent ministerial reshuffle by President Nana Addo has been likened to a case of “garbage in, garbage out” by Keneth Kabu Kofi Kanor, a Communication Team Member of the National Democratic Congress. Speaking on the Simpieso Political show on Ahotor 92.3 FM, hosted by Emmanuel Amartey (Alaska De Don) in Accra, Kanor criticized the appointment of individuals who have been part of the government for the past seven years. He argued that evaluating their performance does not yield any meaningful development for the country.

Kanor suggested that the reappointment of the same individuals in different sectors is a political ploy to deceive Ghanaians, emphasizing that there is nothing new about these ministers. Reacting to Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia’s maiden public political lecture, Kanor asserted that the vice president lacks ideas and vision. He contended that Bawumia cannot provide solutions to the challenges and hardships faced by Ghanaians, describing many of his political and economic statements as inaccurate and inconsistent with facts. Kanor went further to label the vice president as a liar, emphasizing his belief that, as the head of the economic management team for the past seven years, Bawumia failed to demonstrate the necessary ideas and maturity to address the country’s economic problems.

Continuing on the same platform, Bright Nyawudzi Bensil, the Executive Secretary of Positive Transparency and Accountability Movement Ghana (PTAAM), expressed the view that the entire NPP government team lacks vision and has damaged the economic fundamentals of the country, leading to economic hardship. Bensil found it perplexing that the vice president is distancing himself from responsibility, corruption, and the economic challenges facing various sectors.

Bensil called on Ghanaians to vote for former President John Dramani Mahama, emphasizing the need for the NDC party to rescue the nation from its difficult situation. He reiterated that the country requires a positive change for development.
